Reading through the book of E.W Kenyon; The Father and his Family was a life changing moment for me earlier on as a younger believer. Seeing the wealth of the riches of our fellowship in relationship with the father, would definitely play a big role in how you walk as a believer here on earth.
Many a time, we might resort into a performance related relationship, rather than responding to God's love towards us which is found in Jesus Christ. Paul in writing to the Roman church said very daringly; I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus, our Lord (Romans 8: 38-39).
Precisely in Ephesians 3:14-21, we find Paul praying in the letter to the Ephesians where amongst other things, he prays for ability to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height, to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge that we might be filled with the fullness of God. What a Prayer!
We, motivated by this, have put together this book which we believe is resourceful to have believers appreciate the love of the father for them especially in this day and age where we have varying opinions about God's relationship with man and in this instance, pointing to those that are saved in Jesus Christ.
We have put together this very simple, straightforward material to read, to understand, to feed our faith, to feed it in such a way that it would boost the way we appreciate God's relationship towards us.
- How secure am I in Him?
- How hopeful should I be in this relationship?
- What are the riches, that Paul could see as immeasurable in Christ Jesus?
This is the heart cry of this book and we trust that as it is read, understood and practised, believers would find a new vista in their walk amongst other believers and even in the world generally.
So, sit back, take your writing materials and precisely your mind, as we walk through the scriptures and appreciate the love of the father towards us, in the name of Jesus.
