It is a book about the kindness that keeps you inside. The harm that finally pushes you out. The darkness after leaving. And the sun coming up anyway.
Written as a picture book, it works on multiple levels - as a healing tool for survivors, a bibliotherapy resource for therapists working with religious trauma, and a way to share your story with people you love who haven't lived it themselves.
