The Pedagogy of Alternation is an educational proposal that contemplates, respects, and values the knowledge present in sociocultural contexts, considering school-family-community as spaces for the production, organization, and articulation of knowledge. From the perspective of Rural Education, Alternating Education takes place in alternating times/spaces (school-community), with didactic-pedagogical tools developed based on the reality of the school and its students (CALDART; GIMONET; SILVA). This study aimed to analyze the perspectives of Alternating Pedagogy that guide the Pedagogical Political Project (PPP) of the Agricultural Family School (EFA) of Porto Nacional and the Municipal Agricultural Family School Zé de Deus of Colinas do Tocantins. Analysis of the data collected allows us to infer that the schools surveyed present their PPPs anchored in the purposes and foundations of Alternating Pedagogy, whose practices show important contributions to the education and lives of rural workers. There is a need to expand and deepen studies in order to analyze alternating education from the perspective of students, parents, and the community.
