Poppy is a special dog! He is a giant of a dog being a double-sized Labrador. His dad was Chico from California and his mother Hollywood originated from Alaska. He was a special pup who needed twice the food and grew twice as big.

He was bought to be a sniffer dog with the police force. He had one job and that was to enter places and smell all of the house and area looking for special smells made by drugs. Once found he would be given a reward of food and put back in the vehicle. He loved riding in the back of vehicle and knew if he could find some drugs he would get a food reward. He was very good at his job and loved it! In his spare time he loved swimming with his friends and playing a game of touch where the other dogs had to chase him. Poppy loves children and people so he was always getting pats and kisses from the public when on the job. This is Poppy's story about his training and jobs he had to do and what he is doing now.
