Furthermore, sustainable energy sources have a minimal impact on the environment compared to traditional energy sources. For instance, solar and wind power do not produce harmful emissions or pollution during their operation. This reduction in pollution has numerous health benefits, including lower rates of respiratory diseases and improved air quality. Environmental engineers, with their expertise in sustainable energy systems, can help design and implement these technologies to minimize the negative environmental impacts.
