Burnout, stress, and psychosocial risks are widely used concepts today. But how are they defined? How can their consequences be identified? The answers provided are sometimes based on preconceived ideas. This is the case in this study, which questions the external evaluation report of a nursing home concerning the psychological strain on its employees. Individual interviews proved that the real causes of occupational fatigue were not those listed in the external evaluation report of the establishment. The aim of this work is to provide a comprehensive example of the process of managing employee burnout. Every establishment must be able to identify the causes of occupational fatigue, understand its impact on the working environment, and implement an action plan to prevent and reduce occupational fatigue.
