Crimes under international law are crimes that affect the entire international community. The fight against impunity for these international crimes and their repression are goals pursued by the international community as it set out after the two world wars.Despite the progress made in repressing and combating impunity for these crimes, there is still nothing to protect people, especially civilians, from these atrocities. This book analyses the flaws in the practice of international justice, and provides a jurisprudential analysis to demonstrate that these so-called international crimes have not been punished in an exemplary fashion.Although the foundation of international repression is the creation of repressive international jurisdictions, a major weakness of international criminal justice in its fight against impunity is the lack of sufficient creation of international jurisdictions. Their establishment is not accompanied by an effective determination of the applicable sanctions, and above all there is a lack of willingness on the part of States to adhere to the treaties that create them.
