Our troops withdrew to the areas where they are located today. The heart-breaking orders to withdraw were dutifully followed despite our genuine claims to the captured areas. Similar withdrawals were also conducted in strategic areas of Hajipir Pass and Kargil Heights.Today, terrorists regularly infiltrate from Pakistan to India from these areas.
