In the shadow of the majestic Andes Mountains, just south of Chile's capital, Santiago, lies the legendary Maipo Valley. Known as the birthplace of Chilean winemaking, this region holds a special place in the country's viticultural history and is renowned for its exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon.
The Maipo Valley's winemaking history began in the 16th century, and the region has since become a benchmark for Chilean wine quality.
