This is a reference work indexing a portion of the Engraved Wine Stamp plate proofs of 1916-1954 produced by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.
Several Offset Wine Stamp plate proofs are included but additional research is ongoing and will be published separately at a later date.
The series provides a visual tour through a sampling of the certified plate proofs created by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing and held in the National Numismatic Collection at the National Museum of American History.
This book does not show all the plate proofs nor all the variations in the archive.
The Book series is intended for educational use only and to assist future researchers.
