This book describes an intensely personal story about a single day caring for my loving wife who died of pneumonia after a lengthy illness and disability which lasted for a period of more than five years.
As her husband of more than fifty-one years, I was her sole carer for all of that time and was with her to the very end of her life, which was eased to some limited extent by her completion of a 'Respect' form designating her wishes.

The purpose of this small book is to help those who are experiencing similar care needs for their loved ones to find the strength to cope with the on-going difficulties which arise as the one whom they love deteriorates before their eyes.
