It all started in Spokane, WA in 1985, at a fund raising dinner-auction to raise money for a junior hockey team. An ex-hockey player won the right to use the team bus for a three day weekend during that upcoming summer. He and seven of his former teammates soon got together and set off on a golfing excursion to the great state of Montana. Little did the group know that this group would soon grow to twenty-four participants in future years, would become an annual trip that would continue for thirty plus years, and would become known as the Montana Golf Trip. These are the stories that have been generated by the group of twenty-four, mostly ex-hockey players, as they made their annual sojourns into Montana and other golf meccas of the Northwest.

Golf is only an incidental part of these Montana Golf Trips. The primary goal is to have fun, lots of fun, and as you will see, when twenty-four guys get together for three day weekends out of town and out of state, some crazy things are sure to happen. This book chronicles some of the funniest, craziest, and unbelievable stories from those trips. Some of these stories occurred after the golf matches had ended for the day, and the social hours had started, but all are somehow related to the sport of golf.
