Heat-related illnesses, such as heat exhaustion and heatstroke, are on the rise, particularly among vulnerable populations such as the elderly, children, and those with chronic illnesses. Understanding the health risks associated with heatwaves allows us to implement appropriate measures to protect individuals and communities from these life-threatening conditions.Another crucial health concern related to climate change is the increase in disease outbreaks. Changing climate patterns create favorable conditions for the spread of infectious diseases, including vector-borne diseases like malaria, dengue fever, and Lyme disease. Rising temperatures and altered precipitation patterns can impact the distribution and behavior of disease-carrying insects, making it essential to comprehend and anticipate these changes in order to prevent and control outbreaks effectively.Moreover, climate change can exacerbate respiratory issues such as asthma and allergies.
