This publication is a reproduction of the original March 1967 'Norton Matchless' factory workshop manual for the off-road G80CS, C85CS and P11 series of motorcycles manufactured from 1959 through 1969. It is applicable to the entire range of G80CS (1959-1964), G85CS (1965-1966) and P11 (1967-1969) series. Owners of these models will find this concise and focused manual invaluable.
With 56 pages and 31 illustrations this manual is somewhat typical for any professional or racing motorcycle, as it assumes that owners of these models have basic maintenance knowledge and skills. As such, much of the routine maintenance procedures have been omitted which considerably reduces the number of pages required to provide adequate detailed technical information.
However, G80CS and G85CS owners that require additional repair and maintenance information are directed to workshop manual ISBN 9781588502582 which includes the 1957-1966 'Matchless Heavyweight' singles and owners of the P11 will find the 'Norton 1966-1970 Lightweight & Heavyweight Twins' workshop manual ISBN 9781588502421 to be of use, as the P11 utilized an engine that was developed from the 'Norton Atlas' model and that manual includes maintenance and repair information for the 750cc 'Atlas' engine.
