Following the publication of Oxisols and Ultisols: Characteristics and Management, Sustainable Agricultural and Forestry Production in Ultisols of Panama was published last year (2020). However, not only agricultural production but also livestock and forestry production were included in the same book. Therefore, the two categories such as cereal and livestock and forestry production were separated...etc. In this book, it explains the valuable results in the cultivation of rainfed rice and beans in an Ultisol of Panama as part I. Nowadays, it is very important to produce basic cereals for human consumption and to establish sustainable production with low inputs in acid soil such as Ultisol and/or Oxisol in tropical countries with soil fertility management. In addition, for the ordered results, it can be applied to other orders of acid soils in order to establish sustainable production, taking into account food crisis due to climate change. Hopefully, it will be used as educational material on tropical acid soil science for young people who are interested in it.
