Datorită incidenţei crescute a lui, am considerat util să vin în întâmpinarea celor interesaţi cu descrieri şi interpretări ale diferitelor situaţii şi trăiri prin care un diabetic trece, de la diagnosticare şi în continuare, pe parcursul vieţii cu diabet.
Intervenţia terapeutică este cognitiv-comportamentală, abordând într-o manieră realistă dificultăţile de adaptare şi în general trăirile dizarmonice, care apar măcar o dată în existenţa unui diabetic.
