There is so much hatred and discrimination in the world. It helps to destroy schools, families, countries, and entire institutions. As a survivor of the Bosnian Genocide, I know the cost of war and bullying very well. I survived both of those things. I don't understand why there have to be so many scars in the hearts of people. Not to sound dramatic or dark, but we're all going to die one day. Why must there be so much suffering in the meantime? Some People Are Like Piranhas is a poetry book that is based on my experiences with some of the people that I have met throughout my life. It is a reminder that hate destroys itself and that nothing good comes from seeking to degrade people. Those who try to degrade are souls who have allowed their fire to fade.
