To date, the only recommended treatment for celiac disease (CD) is a gluten-free diet (GFD). The principle is theoretically simple, but strict adherence is very difficult to achieve and monitor by gastroenterologists. Several methods are currently available to assess adherence. The Biagi Score, a simple score based on four questions, appears to be the most widely used.We therefore set ourselves the objectives of evaluating adherence to the GFD in patients with CD according to the Biagi Score and of investigating the factors associated with good adherence to the GFD in a Tunisian population.
