纣王去女娲庙去上香。纣王被女娲像迷住，在庙的墙上留诗，要女娲侍寝。女娲看到后大怒，要把商国灭亡。女娲找了一位狐狸精。这位狐精占了一位诸侯的美丽女儿妲己的身体。妲己变成纣王的宠女。妲己设计陷害皇后（四大诸侯之一的女儿），把皇后以酷刑处死，之后她成为皇后。纣王设计把四大诸侯骗到京都，把其中两位（包括被陷害的皇后的父亲）处死。诸侯的继承开始叛乱。阐教玉虚宫教主元始天尊把门徒姜尚送到人间，参加不久要发生的大革命战争。被周地的西伯侯任命为宰相。革命战争扩大升级。纣王派遣宰相，截教教徒闻仲太师出征周国。闻仲太师失利，截教教徒纷纷来协助。阐教教主元始天尊也派遣阐教教徒去协助姜尚。这二教派的教徒在战场上以不可思议的道术及法宝相战。截教教徒在战场上设立十兵阵，称为「十绝阵」，和阐教教徒斗法。姜尚得到许多阐教教徒的协助，把「十绝阵」破了，闻仲太师在逃走路上被阐致死。更多的截教及阐教的教徒加入斗法。战场上有许多不可思议的法宝及法术相斗，有声有色。其中一位土行孙，可以钻到土中变成土，在土中自由行动（土遁）。后来截教的通天教主也介入，设了一个很利害的兵阵。阐教的教主元始天尊及人教的教主老子也加入。一时截教占了下风。通天教主再设一个其厉害无比的「万仙阵」。在这阵中有万枝飞剑相斗。阐教和截教的死伤非常多。通天教主不敌而逃。这时三教的祖师
