Unità Integrate di Cura (IPU): Il principio cardine per riorganizzare i servizi attorno alla specifica condizione medica del paziente e non attorno ai reparti.
Mappatura del Flusso: L'utilizzo pratico della Mappa Spaghetti per identificare i movimenti inutili e della Swim Lane per visualizzare e ridurre le inefficienze nelle responsabilità (handoffs).
Principi Lean: La guida per identificare e rimuovere sistematicamente gli otto tipi di Spreco (Muda) in contesti clinici (dalle liste d'attesa ai difetti clinici).
Strumenti Essenziali: Istruzioni dettagliate per l'applicazione di 5S, Standard Work, e il ciclo PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) come motore quotidiano del miglioramento (Kaizen).
