The Enneagram is simply a geometric model used by Pythagoras, the great mathematician, for over 2500 years. Thanks to important cultures such as Babylon and Greece, which have followed this way of thinking, it has spread all over the world.
It consists of a total of nine points on a circle. Each of these points is clearly defined and labeled with numbers from 1 to 9. The numbers are used to represent one's personality. But no personality is superior to the other. An individual whose temperament is number one is no less than a person in number nine.
You wonder what these nine points really are. They are personality characteristics, and these are the nine basic characteristics that make up every person who walks around the planet. A growing point is connected to two other points by means of interconnection lines that form a sort of star structure.
