Knjiga je podijeljena u tri dijela. U prvom dijelu (Intuicije) autor se bavi najrelevantnijim hipotezama o laznoj stvarnosti opazljivog svijeta. Veliki mislioci su zamislili postojanje nivoa svesti koji nadilazi materiju. Ovu ideju nalazimo u Platonovom Mit o spilji, u Berkeleyevoj Nematerijalističkoj teoriji, kao iu Psihologiji forme (Gestaltpsychologie). Najautoritativniji izvor lezi u radovima Carla Junga o kolektivnoj podsvijesti i o Teoriji sinhronosti.
U drugom dijelu (Potvrde) autor na elementaran, ali detaljan način opisuje put kvantne fizike, od eksperimenta Thomas Young-a o barijeri s dva proreza do fenomena superpozicije stanja i kvantne korelacije. Kroz ove privilegirane ključeve moguce je razumjeti kvantno isprepletanje. U trecem dijelu (Perspektive) autor opisuje teorije koje je David Bohm razvio o kvantnom potencijalu o implicitnom svemiru i eksplicitnom univerzumu i o holografskoj viziji kosmosa. Sve je objasnjeno apsolutno jednostavno, bez upotrebe matematičkih formula i uz pomoc mnogih ilustracija.
Čovječanstvo je od svog porijekla zeljelo istraziti porijeklo i sastav stvari, otkriti njihovo funkcioniranje i njihovu intimnu svrhu.
Univerzalno koristena metoda je rasčlanjivanje predmeta na sve manje dijelove, a zatim njihova analiza pomocu svih mogucih tehnika, od vizualnog istrazivanja do kemijskih reakcija. To se događa i danas. Na primjer, ako znanstvenik zeli otkriti kemijsku i fizičku strukturu granitne kocke, rastavit ce je na sve manje dijelove dok se ne podijeli na pojedinačne atome.
Međutim, ako sam znanstvenik zeli istraziti pojedinačne čestice koje čine atom, primit ce nevjerovatno iznenađenje. Granitna kocka ponasa se kao kocka leda. Naučnik vidi materiju koja postaje magla, isparava i nestaje među prstima. Čvrsta materija postaje energija koja vibrira.
Pojedinačne čestice se pretvaraju u fluktuirajuce valove bez ikakve čvrste tjelesnosti.
Na subatomskom nivou, materija vise nije čvrsta materija, ona postaje nesto drugačije.
Elementarne čestice nas varaju. Izgledaju poput čvrstih mrlja ako ih netko promatra, ali ponasaju se poput vibracijskih valova kad ih ne promatraju.
Atomi praktično sadrze samo vakuum.
Na povrsini vjerujemo da mozemo dodirnuti, izvagati, manipulirati i izmjeriti materiju. Ali, u svom najintimnijem sastavu, materija postaje talasa praznine, energije, informacija, vala ili vibracija. Ono sto nam se čini čvrstim materijalom, u svojoj najintimnijoj sustini vise nije čvrst materijal.
U ovom trenutku je jasno da vise ne mozemo govoriti o jednoj stvarnosti. Ovisno o nivoima posmatranja, od krajnje malog do beskrajno velikog, postoje mnoge stvarnosti, sve različite, ali sve apsolutno istinite.
Ili, mozda, postoje mnogi aspekti vise stvarnosti, jos uvijek nepoznati. Sve filozofije i religije uvijek su pretpostavljale da zona duha nadilazi materiju; međutim, niko nikada nije mogao pruziti dokaze o njegovom postojanju. Danas kvantna fizika otvara ogroman prozor na vidike koje do proslog stoljeca nismo mogli ni zamisliti. Potvrde potiču iz uspjesno izvedenih eksperimenata, posebno onih koji se odnose na fenomen kvantne zapletenosti.
Danas znamo da postoji nivo stvarnosti koji vise nije podlozan ograničenjima Newtonove fizike. Fizika materije vise nije dovoljna za opisivanje svemira.
Kvantna fizika pokazuje postojanje nivoa na kojem energija i informacije preuzimaju materiju. Ovo je takozvani ne-lokalni nivo. Mogli bismo to definirati psihičkim ili duhovnim nivoom.
