Fascismos Ibéricos El 3er fascismo. (I)
Existió un fascismo ibérico? Pudo tener una identidad particular en relación a otros fascismos? Irradió e influyó fuera de España y de Portugal? Cuáles fueron sus rasgos caracterÃsticos? Por qué fue la forma de fascismo genérico que consiguió sobrevivir más en el tiempo? Tales son las cuestiones que vamos a abordar en este volumen 95 de la Revista de Historia del Fascismo y en el siguiente.
Hemos dedicado parte de los números anteriores a reconstruir una historia objetiva sobre Falange Española, el pensamiento de Ramiro Ledesma, el de José Antonio, e incluso hemos dedicado varios ensayos al nacionalsindicalismo portugués y a la figura de Rolão Petro y del integralismo. También hemos consagrado volúmenes enteros a historiar las formas que el fascismo adoptó en Iberoamérica. Ahora ya estamos en condiciones de extraer los rasgos y las trayectorias comunes a ambos lados del Atlántico y deducir algunas conclusiones.
El fascismo ibérico tiene rasgos propios: arraiga en paÃses de mayorÃa católica, y lo hace a través de intelectuales que han experimentado la influencia previa de Charles Maurras. Como no podÃa ser de otra manera, se suman a la corriente genérica del fascismo en el perÃodo de entreguerras. En la medida en que los paÃses ibéricos se mantuvieron al margen de la Segunda Guerra Mundial (o les afectó muy poco en el caso de los paÃses iberoamericanos), en 1945 siguieron existiendo y pudieron prolongar su ciclo vital hasta mediados de los años 70. Esta es su historia y este es su árbol genealógico.
